Photography is a demanding action sport. The light can change so quickly. I often find myself sprinting so that I can catch the perfect light falling on a photogenic subject. To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.

Photography is like a moment, an instant. You need a half-second to get the photo. So it's good to capture people when they are themselves.Writing, of course, is writing, acting comes from the theater, and cinematography comes from photography.

Editing is unique to film. You can see something from different points of view almost simultaneously, and it creates a new experience.
