A short answer, no.. At least not that I know of. The name trikea stems from a combination of things, not the least of which is that it's designed as a three column, spartan (minimalist) template and my fondness for modern furniture and retro designs.
For your personal use yes. To claim as author or to represent ownership.. no. You can modify it to your personal tastes and use it for your own website or blog, you can print it on yesterdays newspaper and line the cat box with it, you can give it/send it to a friend and just about anything else short of selling or claiming it as your own. Besides, you can do better.. I know you can.
I'd like to think so. Being a one-time starving artist (about 34lbs ago) gave me a perspective I keep to this day. "Do what you love, love what you do- the rest will fill in the gaps without your help." Of course, a staple diet of peanut-n-butter sandwiches and a bowl of Ramen soup a day doesn't offer much in the way of sustenance or dietetic stability much less pay for canvas or brushes so, if you feel you've benefited by this, give yourself a 10.00 warm fuzzy and show some patron love.
No. Blunt as it sounds, I've got a pretty full plate for the near future and I'd hate to commit to questions and then not be able to provide the time for answers. As a sidebar, most of the obvious questions you might have I've tried to answer in the demo pages. Code, Css and Html questions -might- be answered in my notes and addendums found in the page source code and the accompying stylesheets. Tough love baby!
See my answer above under "support".
Acronyms!. HTML = Hyper Text Markup Language (the syntax, structure and heirarchy we highly-paid developers use to impress friends and clients alike.) xHTML is the mensa version (not really...) it's an extended version which requires a stricter adherence to coding standards *(which aren't really standards yet!). CSS = Cascading Style Sheets. Css allows designers and developers to add specific styles and attributes to existing html, The obvious benefit of css is that it extends our capabilities to seperate content from structure. W3c = WWWConsortium develops interoperable technologies (specifications, guidelines, software, and tools) to lead the Web to its full potential. (quoted straight off of their website)
Currently I work on/write about /live with web development, specifically- open source collaborative projects. With what little free time I have I write documentation for application developers, tutorials and reviews on a few popular components (for joomla! and wordpress) and add an occasional enhancement or two to the collective known as sourceforge.net. The "1guy" oxymoron came about after I unintentionally posted a rough draft of an article on a domain I used primarily as a live test bed for joomla components. Google being what it is sent thousands of folks looking for word press articles over to the domain (and continues to...) and so, 1guy was born.
artworkorange is a small`ish community made up from a group of very talented painters, illustrators, photographers and designers. The common thread that brings them together online is artworkorange.com. Tim (the sole creator and inspiration behind artworkorange) is a close friend who dedicates a tremendous amount of effort working with galleries, magazines and agencies trying to land commisions for these artists. All proceeds (100%) since the launch of artworkorange has gone directly to these artists so, yeah... I think they're good people.
